The FELIX™100 is NIOSH-approved and was designed to meet the needs of healthcare workers fighting COVID-19. The unit is the first PAPR ever to be approved by NIOSH with a PAPR100-N classification. The PAPR100-N class is one of two next-generation PAPR classes recently established by NIOSH tailored to the particular needs of healthcare workers and it features new safety requirements such as low air flow and battery alarms. The FELIX™100 PAPR is NIOSH-approved under the Public Health Emergency for PAPR100-N protection (99.97% filter efficiency level) effective against particulate aerosols free of oils. The FELIX™100 meets NIOSH requirements per 42 CFR Part 84 for respiratory protection against particulates.

WHAT DOES THE PAPR COME WITH?

Our FELIX100 PAPR is equipped with a loose-fitting hood made of DuPont material that meets safety requirements. The breathing tube is attached to the hood and blower unit, and is detachable. The blower unit includes a 100-N grade filter, designed to last a year in ICU or equivalent setting. The battery provided holds a charge for 8+ hours, typically recharges in 4 hours, and is high grade industrial quality that’s designed to recharge 300-500 times, or approximately 1 year.

IS THE BATTERY CHARGER INCLUDED?

The charger is sold separately and can charge two batteries at a time. The charger is industrial grade and is designed to last several years. You must use the American PAPR battery charger with the American PAPR batteries.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY DEVICE AFTER PAYMENT?

The device will be shipped first come/first served, typically within 2 weeks but guaranteed in 30 business days. Orders that take longer than 30 days can be cancelled and the down payment will be returned in full.

WOULD THESE PAPR UNITS BE COMPATIBLE WITH 3M’S HOODS LIKE THE S133L?

The FELIX100 is not compatible with 3M hoods.

HOW CAN I BE CONFIDENT THAT THE FELIX100 BREATHING TUBE IS WORKING CORRECTLY WITHOUT ANY KINKS?

If there are any kinks in the tube or problems with airflow, the FELIX100 will alarm.

ARE CLOROX WIPES ARE ACCEPTABLE CLEANING METHOD FOR FELIX100 COMPONENTS?

Using Clorox wipes as per the User Instructions is one of the preferred cleaning methods since this is a diluted bleach solution.

HOW MANY TIMES THE HOOD CAN BE REUSED?

The hood should be effective for approximately 1 year, depending on frequency of use.

WHAT IS THE WARRANTY FOR THE FELIX100?

Units are sold under a customary warranty providing for refund or replacement of damaged or defective goods.
